According to the Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP), Mr. Liu, a man living in Xingyang, Henan Province, where he has been married for eight years, works in Zhengzhou, 25 km from Xingyang. ,,,After deducting basic living expenses and a monthly rent of 300 yuan (about 62,000 won), he sent almost all his income to his wife because he wanted to provide her with a sense of security,,, but his wife was not working after marriage and was raising the children at home. Over the past few years, Mr. Liu said he had given his wife a total of 1.16 million yuan (about 240 million won), and he said he deposited this money into her bank account. However, not long ago, he told his wife he wanted to check her bank account, but she refused. Curious, Mr. Liu asked again, and his wife confessed that there was not a single money left in her account. It was also revealed that the wife borrowed 80,000 yuan (about 16.56 million won) from a loan company, and although she confessed she had spent all 1.16 million yuan he had sent, she couldn't even explain where the remaining money was spent except for the 670,000 yuan she spent on the male live streamer.
